Construction Techniques

Substrate Treatment: Substrate should be solid and smooth, without cracks, hollow spots, dust, oil stains, or water seepage. If there are voids, uneven corners, or if the wall surface deviation is greater than 3mm, it should be leveled with white inorganic textured mortar before construction. Before construction, the substrate surface should be thoroughly moistened with water, and the next step should be carried out only after the surface is free of visible water.

Decoration Layer Construction: According to the water quantity indicated on the certificate of conformity, pour clean water into a clean mixing bucket. While using an electric mixer, gradually add VASA® Deco Skimcoat 100and mix thoroughly until a uniform and lump-free paste is obtained. Allow it to stand for 3-5 minutes, then mix again for 15-30 seconds before use. Apply the paste evenly on the prepared substrate layer, applying 2-3 coats depending on the smoothness of the substrate layer. Each coat should be applied when the previous one is nearly dry to the touch and doesn't move when pressed with a finger. The thickness of each coat should be controlled within 1-1.5mm. After the application is smooth, use a stainless steel finishing trowel for smoothing 5-10 minutes after application. After 24 hours, sprinkle water for 3-4 days for better results
