Construction Techniques

Substrate Treatment:

1)The substrate should be solid and clean, without cracks, dust, oil stains, seepage, or hollowing. if there is a hollow depression should be filled with this product first leveling.
2)At junctures of different substrates, the alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh cloth is used to strengthen the mesh cloth width of not less than 250mm, and the lap width with different substrates, should not be less than 100mm.
3)Before construction, the substrate surface should bethoroughly moistened with water, and the mortar should be applied after the surface is without clear water.

Material Mixing:According to the instructions on the product certificate, the mixing process is as follows:

◇ Add water to the mixing bucket first, following the specified amount indicated on the certificate.
◇ Slowly add mortar while simultaneously starting the mixer to quickly and evenly mix the materials.
◇ Allow the mixture to stand for 3 minutes.
◇ Mix again for 10-15 seconds before use.
It's important to note that the prepared mortar must be used within 1 hour. It is strictly prohibited to add water to re-mix hardened mortar for reuse.

Plastering and Leveling Construction:

1)【Floating screed】Floating screed of the wall should be carried out before leveling the plastering. When the height of the wall is less than 3.5 meters, the reinforcement should be made, and the spacing between the two strips should not be greater than 1.5m; When it is greater than 3.5 meters, the spacing of the dabbed mortar should not be greater than 2m when it is made, and the spacing between the two strips should not be greater than 2m.
2)【Manual Plastering】When plastering a large surface, it is advisable to do it in multiple passes. Start with the edges and corners before covering the large surface area. Within the same 'chongjin' spacing, it is advisable to complete the plastering in one go. The plastering thickness should be slightly higher than the thickness of the 'chongjin' strip by 1-2mm. Then, use a plastering trowel to evenly scrape from bottom to top. The thickness of a single application should be between 5-15mm.
3)【Cleaning and Maintenance】After the mortar has solidified and hardened (typically after 24 hours at room temperature), it is necessary to keep it moist by sprinkling water for no less than 3 days for proper curing.

Decoration Layer Construction:

【Imitation Travertine texture】Use plastering trowel at a 45°-60° angle to evenly evenly spread a layer of paste approximately 2-3mm thick on the leveled substrate layer. Apply enough pressure to ensure slight grainy texture is present. Once the surface loses its noticeable sheen, use the short edge of the spatula at an 80°-90° angle to create even patterns on the wall. After creating the patterns, use the spatula to smooth and flatten along the direction of the patterns. Continuous construction should be maintained on the same wall surface until completed.
Decorative finish construction should be carried out according to the design style requirements. The construction process may vary depending on the specific decorative style, so the on-site guidance should be followed for accurate procedures.
