1995

In August 1995, the predecessor of the company Changsha Changhong Waterproof Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded and mainly undertook waterproof construction projects as a regional enterprise.

1996

It developed to be a pacesetter in Hunan waterproof industry. However, it didn’t retainedonly in Hunan and actively sought larger platform.

1997

It sought development in Beijing and supported the waterproof maintenance of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall for free.

1998

In March 1998, Beijing Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Technology LLC., was set up, marking that it indeed gained a foothold in Beijing market.

1999

Oriental Yuhong waterproof system was taken as a standard system for the construction of China Cotton and Grain Depot, and the company undertook 60% of waterproof engineering task.

2000

In October 2000, the company reformed and Beijing Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd. was founded with total stock of 27.425 million yuan.

2002

In December 2002, Oriental Yuhong was certified as Beijing Hi-tech Enterprise by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, since when its image of profession was set up and its industrial influence started to emerge.

2003

In July 2003, the company overcame the adverse impact of SARS. The production line imported from US R&D Company was completed and put into production on schedule and meanwhile China Building Waterproof Museum (globally unique) was built up where we can have an overview of advanced waterproof technologies at all times and in all over the world. In the same year, Li Weiguo, enterprise legal person, was elected into the list of Top Ten Youth Entrepreneurs in Beijing and accepted an interview in Oriental Horizon in CCTV to tell his story of success full of hardships.

2004

In 2004, Oriental Yuhong became one of the first exemption enterprises for waterproof products approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC. In the same year, Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Material Testing Co., Ltd. obtained the qualification in testing waterproof material performance with the authentication of CNACL.

2005

In February, May, June and August 2005 and February 2006, the company won the contract for labor and materials successively in the waterproof projects for Capital Airport, the Water Cube, the Bird’s Nest, New CCTV, Olympic Village, and Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park, through which it made new contribution to“New Beijing and New Olympics”.Oriental Yuhong developed to be a leading enterprise in industry.

2008

On September 10, 2008, Oriental Yuhong (002271) went public officially in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which opened a new historical chapter of China building waterproof industry. In the same year, Oriental Yuhong was awarded National Advanced Construction Enterprise in Scientific and Technological Progress and Technological Innovation. The president Li Weiguo was elected as a member of the 11th CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee.

2010

In April 2010, with concern about Shanghai World Expo, it undertook the waterproof project of many venues including China Pavilion, France Pavilion, Sweden Pavilion, Shanghai Expo Axis, Expo Performance Center, and Intercontinental Expo Hotel Shanghai. In July, Yu Zhengsheng, the Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Committee inspected Oriental Yuhong. In November, Oriental Yuhong was approved to set up post-doctoral work station. In December, Li Weiguo, the president of Oriental Yuhong, was elected as the chairman of the council of China Building Waterproof Association by a unanimous vote.

2011

In February 2011, TPO mechanically fixed single-ply roofing system presented by Oriental Yuhong got FM certificate issued by US FM Global.

2012

In March 2012, Oriental Yuhong ranked first in terms of waterproof materials of preferred supplier brands of top 500 real estate developers in China Real Estate Top 500 Summit 2012.

2013

In December 2013, Oriental Yuhong won one champion and two second places in the first “Union Cup” National Building Waterproof Skill Competition. Till now, the competition has been hold for 4 times, and five construction technicians from Oriental Yuhong win the title of Waterproof Master.

2014

In November 2014, in the comprehensive quality evaluation against 2422 public companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen, Oriental Yuhong got the highest score and was the only one with general score exceeding 80.

2015

Up to May 2015, Oriental Yuhong had invested several fields including non-woven fabric, building energy conservation, mortar, and energy and chemical industry, and thus its strategic layout was completed basically. Oriental Yuhong successively founded companies in Canada and North America to develop overseas market; in the same year, as a strategic partner, Oriental Yuhong, with Vanke Pavilion, entered 2015 Milan World Expo. The Roof Waterproof and Insulation Project of Shenzhen Airport T3 Terminal won the IFD metal roof award nomination.

2016

In January 2016, Oriental Yuhong North America LLC established a scientific research lab that focuses on water-based coating in the Ben Franklin Tech Ventures, Pennsylvania, USA, and a lot of famous domestic and foreign media reported it. Currently, high quality waterproof products produced by Oriental Yuhong have been exported to over 100 countries and regions including Germany, Brazil, Venezuela, Poland, Turkey, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, India and so forth.

2017

In April 2017, the application of Oriental Yuhong on public offering of convertible bonds was checked and approved by CSRC, and in May, Oriental Yuhong signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Evergrande Group.

In November 2017, Oriental Yuhong won the 17th China Quality Award.

In December 2017, Oriental Yuhong and Xiongan New Area signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

2021

Oriental Yuhong was listed in the Fortune China 500 andForbes Global 2000.

2022

Oriental Yuhong won the "2022 Top 500 Preferred Supplier Service Providers for Real Estate Development Enterprises in Comprehensive Strength.
