Applications

It is applicable to fix all kinds of tiles except glass brick on the surface of indoor and outdoor stable walls and floors. The specific scope of application is as follows.

Construction Techniques

Substrate treatment: The substrate must be solid, clean from oils and grease, no wax stains, no concrete curing agent and other loose materials.The flatness of the substrate should be less than 3mm/m².

Preparing the tile adhesive: First, add water to the mixing bucket. And then slowly add the powders, in the mean while stirring with a mechanical stirrer until a uniform, lump-free paste is obtained. Stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir it again for 15 to 30 seconds. Then it is ready to use. The mixed tile adhesive needs to be used within 2 hours.

Tiles paving: Emphatically apply a thin layer of the tile adhesive on the surface of substrate using a spatula, in this way the bonding strength between the adhesive and substrate can be strongly enhanced. And then apply a thick layer; process the adhesive layer with a suitable tooth-shaped spatula. Make sure that each coating area is not more than 1 square meter. Then press the tiles onto the processed adhesive layer before drying. Under adverse weather condition (such as high temperature, wind, etc.) or for high absorbent substrate, tiles paving should be done as soon as possible. Before tiles paving, touch the adhesive layer with your fingers to check whether it is dried. If it is not dried yet, tiles paving can precede. Otherwise, adhesive layer should be applied again. The depth of the spatula tooth should be considered according to the flatness of the working surface and the concavity of the back surface of the tile.
If the groove at the back surface of tile is very deep, or the dimension of the tile is more than or equal to 300 * 300 mm, combined construction methods should be used, i.e. applying a layer of adhesive both on the surface of the substrate and on the back surface of the tile, and then pasting the tiles over the processed adhesive layer. And then give an appropriate kneading pressure on the tile.
