Construction Techniques
Substrate preparation: The substrate of external wall must be solid, clean and no hollow. Any traces of oil, impermeable coatings, dust, alkali, hollow areas and any efflorescence etc. on the surface of substrate of buildings must be removed completely. Remove mosses and algae completely with steel brushes. The maximum flatness deviation of the wall of new application building should be less than 4mm by two-meter ruler, and the uneven areas must be removed or leveled using VASA F-60 fast repair mortar. Exterior windows & doors should be verified for acceptance, and the hole size, location should meet the design requirements. The frame and sub-frame of windows & doors should be installed.
Preparation of ceramic tile adhesive:Volume of water is given in Certificate. Add water to the mixing bucket, and then slowly add the powders while mixing with mechanical agitator until a homogeneous paste without lumps is obtained. Wait 3 to 5 minutes prior to mixing again for 15-30 seconds. Finally, it is ready for use. The mixed tile adhesive should be used up in 2 hours.
Spot-bond Application:Using a trowel to apply the prepared mortar on the edge of the back side of the insulation board(600mm*1200mm) as a bead on all sides, and about six to eight points in diameter of about 8 cm on the back-side surface. The mortar beads should be some 3 to 4 cm wide. As soon as the material is applied, fix and align the insulation boards immediately, and press the boards evenly. When the board is fixed, the adhesion surface must at least be 40 %.
