Construction Techniques

Preparing and instrument: Construction tools for Fast Setting Cement Plaster include electric mixer, mixing bucket, measuring cup, spatula, putty knife, mortar board, scraper bar, level gauge, etc.

Substrate treatment: The substrate must be compact, free of dust, free of water, no sharp corners and hollow. For loose substrate, multifunctional interface agent VASA PMC-500 is recommended to solid and close the substrate.

Preparing the mix:
First, add water to the mixing bucket. And then slowly add the powders, in the mean while stirring with a mechanical stirrer until a smooth, lump-free paste is obtained. FCP-100 mix remains usable for 1 hour after mixing.

Applying the mix:
Scrape the mortar on the wall; repeat scraping according to the leveling thickness. The thickness of each layer is recommended to be 5 mm to 15 mm. The interval of every two layers should be 2 to 3 hours. Leveling and compaction shall be done at the last layer. Tiles can be laid on the surface after 1 day.
