Applications

Interface treatment prior to rendering the substrate surface of smooth concrete wall as well as new and old concrete.

Roughening treatment before tiling on substrate of high flexible waterproof.

Interface treatment prior to applying the putty on the rendering layer.

Be added to talcum powder, gypsum powder and putty powder for wall scraping to enhance the bonding strength, improve the smoothness of application, and prevent cracking and powdering.

Be added to cement mortar to improve the water retention, deformation resistance, flexibility, and bonding strength.

Construction Techniques

Substrate preparation: The substrate must be solid, and free of cracks, dust and oil. Clean up the contaminants and any loose materials on the surface of the substrate.

Gluing: Dilute PMC-481 with 50% - 100% of water, and apply it by roller on the substrate as 1-2 coats. Commence the next process after full drying of the membrane.

Roughening:Do not add water during this process. Mix the PMC-481 universal interface agent with cement (42.5 Portland cement is recommended) in a ratio of 1:2 to prepare the mortar. Apply it with a hard brush or a roller on the substrate, and the coating thickness is about 2 mm. Commence the next process after completely hardening of the mortar.
