Suitable for toilet, kitchen, balcony, floor heating, non-exposed roof waterproof and moisture-proof. Also suitable for one of the waterproof procedures for concrete roof, and after that the cement mortar protective layer should be laid to membrane to avoid expose.

Construction Techniques

Preparation and tools: The tools for waterproof construction mainly include mechanical agitator, mixing barrel, brush or roller, adhesive tape, water stop strip, stopper, mesh cloth, vernier caliper, tape, ink box or laser level meter, etc.

Substrate treatment: All substrates to be waterproofed must be flat and true, free from water, sharp concave, honeycombs, pitting surface or oil, dirt and grease. The internal and external corners should be treated by leaking stoppage. The cracks, deformation joints of substrates and grooves at the root of the pipe are grouted with sealing materials and perform waterproof treatment. The loose and high-water absorbent substrates should be primed with interface agent for sealing treatment.

Waterproof application for details of construction: In indoor waterproofing application, there are many joints, and the treatment for details is complex, as well as the main reason to determine whether there will be leakage from waterproofing membrane. Before large-area waterproof application, apply the waterproofing membrane with a brush to internal and external corners and to joints at the root of the pipes. Lay a reinforcing mesh to the membrane. Then spread waterproofing membrane again. The  reasonable total thickness is not less than 1 mm. It is noted that the reinforcing mesh should be saturated with water.

Large-area waterproof application of membrane: The membrane should be applied as multiple coats. The second coat should be applied at a vertical angle to the first after drying about 6-8 hours. Likewise, the third coat should be applied in same way. The corner and root should be applied one more coat. The waterproof membrane should be coated fully and evenly without omission. The appropriate coat thickness is 1.5-2mm. Perform the watertight test after complete drying.

Quality inspection and approval: Conduct the watertight test on kitchen, toilet and other areas. Seal doors and drains, and the highest depth of water storage should be not less than 20 mm, water storage time not less than 24 hours. If there are no leaks, then waterproof is regarded qualified.

Application of protective isolation coat: After the acceptance of the coating waterproof membrane, the application of protective isolation coat can be performed according to the relevant specifications or design requirements.

This product contains cement, which may cause skin and eye irritation. So please wear the necessary protective equipment during construction. If it touches your eyes, remove contact lenses and keep eyelids open. Rinse open eye immediately with plenty of running water. Seek medical advice if complaint continues.
