Applications

Suitable for fine leveling of interior floors of residential, office and public buildings. On the surface of hardened SLS-101, tiles, PVC sheets, carpets, wood floor, and other various cover materials can be laid directly. Reasonable construction thickness is of 3 - 10mm.

Construction Techniques

Preparation and tools: Check the condition of the substrate and give the corresponding treatment. Application tools include mechanical agitator, mixing bucket, measuring cup, tooth spatula, defoaming roller, spiked shoes, double-sided adhesive tape, isolation tape, tape measure, and ink fountain etc.

Substrate treatment: Substrate must be flat and true, free of dust, water, sharp corners and hollow, and be primed with multifunctional interface agent VASA PMC-500. To ensure the sealing effect, generally the interface agent should be applied twice. Apply the SLS-101 after the solidification of the interface agent.

Preparation of the mortar: Volume of water is given in Certificate. Add water to the mixing bucket, and then slowly add the powders while mixing with mechanical agitator for 1-2 minutes until a homogeneous paste without lumps is obtained. The prepared mortar should be used up in 30 minutes.

Application process: Spread the mortar on the treated surface after the solidification of the interface agent from the inside to the outside, aided by spreading tooth scraper. And continuously defoam using a defoaming roller. The construction of self-leveling mortar should be continuous and the defoaming should be completed within 15 minutes after spreading. When the width of construction zone is more than 6~8 meters, the construction should be separated by segments. Before installing the separator, the line should be positioned. The boundary should be protected after the separation zone is removed to avoid the newly constructed mortar spreading to the hardened surface.

Curing and surface paving: During the construction period and within two days after construction, attention should be paid to avoid environmental changing caused by cross ventilation, local insolation, etc., and to keep the construction temperature and humidity stable, with relative humidity less than 95 %. If there are other abnormal factors, please contact technicians from VASA.
Under the normal room temperature of about 20 ℃, people can walk on the surface after about 2 to 4 hours’ curing; PVC laying, tiling and self -leveling of surface layer can be done after 2 day’s curing. Carpet and wood floors paving can be done according to the on-site relative humidity.

This mortar contains cement, which may cause skin and eye irritation. So please wear the necessary protective equipment during application. If it touches your eyes, remove contact lenses and keep eyelids open. Rinse open eye immediately with plenty of running water. Seek medical advice if complaint continues.
